Duck Rescue At O’Daniel Mazda

About 9:00am this morning employees at  Staples and O’Daniel Mazda noticed a mother duck quacking and anxiously pacing in the O’daniel Mazda parking lot.  Our Employee Matt Schenkel crawled into the sewer drain to find 10 little ducks.  Animal Control came to help with the rescue. A garden hose was used to push  the ducklings through the pipe intothe Animal Control Officer Stacy Miller.

Within 2 1/2 hours all the ducklings were returned to their Mother.   Under thelaws of the DNR the ducklings could not be moved so they were set free in a pond behind the O’Daniel Mazda Used Car Department.  Lucky Ducks to be here and  rescued.
